Why would anyone want a large format wine? Although standard sizes bottles of our MT. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon are incredible to drink, the amount of oxygen between the wine and the cork helps the wine develop in the bottle. Aromas and flavors can develop, resulting in a higher quality wine that is more nuanced and complex.
In a large format bottle, this ‘trapped’ oxygen has to penetrate much more wine. The aging process is a lot slower, but ultimately yields an even better result. But let's be honest, If you bring a large bottle of Foyt Mt. Veeder Cabernet for a group at an event or your favorite restaurant not only will not it be the premium wine on site, it will also be pretty darn cool to fill up those decanters! The Foyt Family Wines large format series consists of currently ranges from 3L up to 9L bottles! Use the sizing reference to the right and see below for current inventory.
